These tiny curls are great for adding texture to a picture or coloured hair.
- The green curls look like moss (see Mrs Moss tutorial) or tangled shrubs.
- The yellow curls work well added into flowers or mixed with other fibres.
- The red curls can be used for pretty flowers and for wild, coloured hair as in our Witches and Wizards October 2018 Makerss' Box.
- The blue and purple curls are ideal for wisteria or other plants.

Having just knitted a fabulous chicken as a present for our neighbour who keeps chickens I came across these fabulous birds feet which were just perfect to finish the project. I used the white version and coloured them with marker pens and I’m thrilled with the finished article. Thank you Makerss x

I’d never done needling before so chose an easy kit. It was very simple to follow the instructions and looks great. It just seems to come together.

I ordered a 20g bag of green Leicester curls and planned a quiet hour to practice for their effect. An hour is never long enough to felt of course! But they are easy to use and add an interesting texture to work. I have used them in the foreground of a sunflower landscape. I next plan to use them in a close up of a sunflower - all that interesting foliage around the flower head. I recommend using curls as they’re a great opportunity to be creative and bold!!!
Thank you for sending me the wool. I use it for doll's hair. It is lovely, but although you quoted weight, because I still only understand pounds and ounces the amount was less than I thought it would be.
