Ideal for for 2d needle felting when used with a 7x needle holder, flat projects such as pictures (landscape and robin), motifs etc. Our favourite when used with water soluble paper for flowers and butterflies.
Method:
Place the applique over the basic fabric ad pierce lightly with the felting needle tool. The fibres will become interlaced, attaching the motif to the fabric. The brush-like mat enables smooth punching with little resistance and allows the fibres of the applique to become well meshed with the basic fabric. The bristle length provides the ideal hardness and density for punching.

Easy to use eyes, make a hole, push the eye in, adding a bit of glue.

Brilliant little creation
For tiny toes, fingers, beaks, etc. The paper may peel off if worked too much, so am going to run over with a bit of PVA glue before using next time.
Perfect for skin tone on faces, hands and feet. It felts up very quickly.
The crowns are so cute and perfect for my mini knitted kings for the nativity or felted animals
