Once more, we are delighted to welcome local and award winning Agnese Davies to our workshop in Nailsworth to teach you the art of needle felting. This beautiful Emerging Owl Head project is suitable for beginners, as well as those who have already started their needle felting journey. You will make one Owl Head with the frame and learn new skills and technique to accomplish deceptively realistic details.
A note from Agnese herself: "In this workshop you will learn how to needle felt a barn owl thats peeping out of a hole. I will share the techniques for enhancing the eyes and creating the fluffy look of its face. "
You will be provided with all the materials and tools you require to complete the project as well as refreshments including tea, coffee, cake and a light lunch
Our workshop is light, warm and comfortable and there is opportunity to look around our shop with an exclusive participant discount.

She prefers to work with small groups (max 8 participants) as she likes to spend time one to one as well as explaining and demoing to all participants. Her attention to detail is exquisite and marks her work as so special.
Agnese is passionate about the natural world and the preservation of animals and birds.
She discovered needle felt art several years ago, regularly visiting our shop. Her pictures and sculptures are delicate and hand made with care and great attention to detail and ‘personality’.

This was a treat to myself and I’m so glad I got it.
The parcel is packed in date order and inside each gift clearly it explains what it is and includes suggestions as to how it could be used. It was wonderful to have 4 Christmas projects for 4 of the days - looking forward to making the earrings in particular!

I've found these needles to be excellent quality and reasonably priced having a labelled container makes it easy to find a new needle when required. I would recommend them.
