New and improved for 2024 our Seal Small Needle Felt Kit is a fun, easy beginner project that makes two adorable seal!
Skill level: Felty Fledgling (Easy Beginner)
Size: Approx. 12-15cm long
Techniques used: Basic shaping, attaching shapes, adding features & whiskers.
This small kit contains:
- Full colour, step-by-step instructions
- Basic Core Wool
- Wool batts: white Shetland, grey/brown South German Merino, white Cape Merino, Black New Zealand Merino
- 2x pair of 6mm Black Glue-In Eyes
- 2x Strand of black or dark horsehair
- Felting needles (#36 coarse, #38 medium, #40 fine)
- Eco Wool Felting Mat (made from recycled wool and 100% compostable)
You will also need: Clear-drying PVA Glue, sewing needle to attach the whiskers

Easy to use eyes, make a hole, push the eye in, adding a bit of glue.

Brilliant little creation
For tiny toes, fingers, beaks, etc. The paper may peel off if worked too much, so am going to run over with a bit of PVA glue before using next time.
Perfect for skin tone on faces, hands and feet. It felts up very quickly.
The crowns are so cute and perfect for my mini knitted kings for the nativity or felted animals
