Spice Mix Wool Bag for needle felting and wet felting
- Contains a colourful mix of variegated New Zealand Merino wool batts in: variegated green, turquoise variegated, Dormouse ochre, fox rust brown variegated, fox red variegated, fox orange variegated and deep red variegated and white batts.
the variegated look is achieved by a darker natural fibre evenly carded into the colours. - Weight: 80g
- Suitable for wet & needle felting

PLEASE NOTE – when necessary we may substitute the type of wool with a comparable product.
‘Vegetable Matter’ occasionally you may find vegetable matter (VM) in our wools. These are usually dried bits of grass. All our wools have been washed and are clean! When needle felting usually the VM will work its way up to the surface and you can pick it off easily. It is not necessary to pick these out before you felt there wool. The wool has been carded but sometimes VM stays in it in small quantities.
NB: although every effort has been made to represent the colours shown as accurately as possible, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match as all images can vary when viewed on different screens and devices.

What a luxury ✨️ when you been putting up using polystyrene or felting in the air. Helped my makes starting look more professional for sure along with the Heidi needles.

I bought this pack as I needed “batts” to do my 2D felting (I found merino tops don’t allow you to do shading easily). Batts on the other hand are web-like so they allow you to do the shading nicely! I’m in awe of the selection of variegated/heathered colours, I’ve always wanted a variegated autumnal mixed bag. They are all of the same hue and tone so work very well together! If you are buying other packs at the same time (like I did) do bear in mind that some of the colours here are also given in some other packs, so you will end up with duplicates. I am fine with that because I will use it all, and I doubt you will find this a problem anyway. In terms of quantity, each colour is useful and enough for a good bunch of 2D projects. It is possibly different to 3D filters, as in enough for less projects.
Drawback: I don’t think I need to mention this but, yes- it is on the slightly expensive side. But I’m not going to complain because it is just what I need. Plus I believe Steffi and Sophie are charging responsibly and fairly anyway. So rest assured you are paying for what you are getting!
Fantastic mix of colours, good selection and useful amount of each colour. Used to make Christmas decorations (baulbles) mostly in combination with the Christmas wool pack. Soft feel but felts quickly and well.
