‘Vegetable Matter’ occasionally you may find vegetable matter (VM) in our wools. These are usually dried bits of grass. All our wools have been washed and are clean! When needle felting usually the VM will work its way up to the surface and you can pick it off easily. It is not necessary to pick these out before you felt there wool. The wool has been carded but sometimes VM stays in it in small quantities.

Can’t wait to make these mouselings . Great supplies and detailed instructions
Amazing Value for money large quantity of items suitable for anyone’s stash
I've found these needles to be excellent quality and reasonably priced having a labelled container makes it easy to find a new needle when required. I would recommend them.
Just what we were looking for to make armatures for small felted animals.
So far I've made 5 of these (sheep, penguin, owl, guinea pig and duck) and they are all just so cute. If you're new to felting, I'd start with the owl as it was the least complicated, and quick to make. The wools are lovely and soft. I have found it easier to use a core wool for the basic shape and use the kit wools to cover. I got these as part of the Black Friday deal so were a good price too.
I thought I wrote this but my cats feels I should write it again (after all its from them), I saw this wonderful kit sold on behalf of Cat Protection and it looked fun, I love needle felting and wanted to learn how to make jewellery and this kit was it (2 things I love cats and felting, so bought as a gift from my 2 cats) its wrapped and under the tree. Ready for me to make over Christmas, and of course I will be going back to the web site to check out other kits.
Exactly what I ordered, arrived in time for Christmas
Absolutely beautiful 😍
It’s lovely and soft short fibres. It felts really quickly. I’m making a gingerbread man on a tweed wool fabric, to add to Christmas cards. The idea was from the Makerss Advent Calendar. I’m starting now for next Christmas, so all my cards are going to be gingerbread men, reindeer, Santa, snowman etc.
Easy to use glue pen especially for smaller pieces.
This little magnetic case works really well holding some of my felting needles. It's great for safely transporting my felting needles when I'm out and about. Highly recommended.
This is a mix of 3 different gauge needles. I love these as I've found that they felt a bit faster and don't leave as noticeable holes as some other needles do. Highly recommended.
This is a brilliant little tool. It has saved my fingers many times from accidental stabbing while I'm trying to work my edges. I'm going to order the round ones as well. Highly recommended.
These multi tools are really good. I have a few of them so that I have one wherever I'm needle felting. I like to make sure that I have access to one whither I'm needle felting at home or somewhere else. I highly recommend them as they make some needle felting tasks much easier.
Nice to work with. Although it has long white fibres in it so it does not give a solid black finish if that is what you are after better to go for an alternative, or use this as a core and put an alternative as a top coat (e.g. black dyed cape merino if want a soft to touch solid black finish).
I really love this wool. It’s a little darker than other natural blacks I’ve had (which I really like about it) but still very natural looking. I used it for the sheep and I also made a Humboldt penguin with it and it was just perfect for it. It’s nice to work with and felts to a nice finish.
Beautiful wool to work with, felts fast and firm. Not just for use as a core wool either as gives a nice natural black finish.
A really lovely soft black with a natural look to it, not harsh at all.
