Are you feeling spooky yet? Halloween is not far away, but then again some believe you should be able to buy needle felt kits for witches all year round.
This Witch is a new 2024 design and made entirely from wool if you discount the ready made felt hat and little resin frog that also comes in the kit.
Suitable for beginners+ and children over 10 (or supervised crafty children 7+).
Skill level: Easy Beginner
Size: Approx. 20cm tall including hat
Techniques used: Sculpting with wool, attaching shapes and features.
This small kit contains:
- Full colour, step-by-step instructions
- 7 different types of wool
- Black felt hat with yellow satin ribbon
- Green mini frog made from resin
- Felting needles (#38 medium)
- Eco Wool Felting Mat (made from recycled wool and 100% compostable)
You will also need: clear drying glue and sharp little scissors
Designed and packaged in the UK using ethically sourced and eco-friendly materials. Please reuse, recycle, and/or compost packaging & tools.

Brilliant kit. Only my second felting project so was slightly worried about making, what appears to be, an intricate model but the step by step instructions and video for the tricky bits were amazing. Plenty of materials supplied so when I made an error with the ear size, I could remake.

The mat is good and I liked the eco side of it. I have tremors so may struggle to needle felt safely. We have had badgers around since we moved here almost 30 years ago. Some very tame will wait at patio door for food. They like banana and almost anything.

The wool batts are a beautiful mix to make a beautiful batt! The luxury pipe cleaners are thick & lovely but the beige & black are not. Not happy with them but I will keep them. They were delivered in good time even though they were from overseas. I recommend this site.
