Techniques used: Wire wrapping and a little needle felting
To make this project you will also need:
Wool:
- Standard Core/Stuffing batts
- white Shetland batts
- Flesh Pink South American Merino tops
- white Extra Fine Merino tops
- short, extra white Teeswater Curls
Extras:
- Extra Strong Pipe Cleaners
- Extra Strong Thread
- Embellishments/decorations of your choice (we used iridescent wings, rose gold crown, gold bell, snowflakes, silver stars and sequin trim decorations)
Tools: felting needle (#38 medium)
You will also need: sewing needle, clear-drying glue (PVA), pliers, scissors, felting mat (optional).

WOW! What a lovely surprise this lucky dip box was - the value far exceeded what I had paid. This included a kit to make a bunny, a bag of felting fibres, a notebook, instructions for other projects, various wires, flowers, a little basket, a "Wonderful" sew on badge which made my day, all (except for the box the kit came in) contained in a lovely corduroy bag - and there are still things I've not listed... I am so pleased with this and can't wait to start making stuff. I only wish I had ordered 2 boxes, and am looking forward to the next time they are available! Thank you!
I use this wire for my larger makes. It's strong but can be positioned easily. Great for leg positions.
I took my time completing this. There is surprisingly more than you think to get done... small but mighty project :)
I forgot to add the white tummy and I noticed that the nose looks a bit different but then just left it as it was because I thought it still looked nice as is. 'Happy accidents' and all... the toes and glue-in eyes are a bit fiddly (because of the positioning) but it does look nice when complete - worth the effort. Also, making the dark green base brings it all together! Would recommend :)
Such good value for money, unwrapping it felt like Christmas when you are a child. Now to get my head into gear, and to decide what I should make first.

The instructions were nice and clear and everything was in the kit so I was able to take it away with me and complete it on holiday just had to add a bit of glue when I got home to secure the eyes.
This is my 2nd lucky dip and great value as before. Lots of goodies including a needle felting kit I'm very pleased.
